Buddy turned eight on Saturday (and my long time readers will know that this means Jed and I also celebrated 11 years of marriage). To celebrate the anniversary, we had a camping/army cake. Nope. To celebrate that kid who has taken over our anniversary, we had a camping/army cake. We couldn't decide if his cake should be army themed, or camping themed, so we sort of combined the two ideas (camping idea from Pinterest). For those interested, the "logs" are Pirouettes made by Pepperidge Farms (or in this case, some cheaper varitey available at Walmart. The "fire" is a fruit roll-up that was conveniently orange and red.
