Seriously, I could eat this with a spoon.
From Essential Mormon Celebrations cookbook (here)
2 cups ketchup
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup red wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
1/4 cup Worchestershire sauce
1/4 tsp Tabasco
1/8 tsp liquid smoke
Heat over medium in a saucepan for 5 minutes. YUM! It goes with this flank steak recipe (Friday's recipe on this menu).
Note: this makes a lot. I half it for my family of five and we still have some leftover.
