I love the Santa Barbara Zoo and the giraffe with the crooked neck was one of my favorite animals there. I had my first birthday party at this zoo. Gemina, only 21 when she died, was not around then, but I made a lot of trips to this zoo as a teenager and after our daughter was born. My husband and I thought it was great when they mentioned this giraffe on a couple different episodes of Alias.

Animals are amazing! I think it's always interesting how an animal with a condition like Gemina's - touches something in our hearts... :)
